On behalf of all our family, I just want to say thanks for all the help and especially the patience you extended to us over the past three months. The wonderful team of caregivers were great and the ones that last 10 days were phenomenal. They truly ministered to not only Lucy but also to Al and the rest of our family. The house seems so empty now not only with Lucy’s passing, but also with the absence of all the gals. We will truly miss them.
A farm girl at heart, breakfast was always the most important meal to Lucy, so it was sad when on Tuesday she could only eat a couple small bites of egg. Seems so appropriate that she tired of that and instead went to have breakfast with Jesus early Wednesday morning. (I’m sure she even had heated plates.)
This final picture I took of Lucy I call Hands of Love. It makes me think of the hands of all of you as well.
