Sonia was my angel. She helped me recover from an injury that left me incapacitated. She never left my side and guided me to a full and speedy recovery. Thank you & Mayanna for the care Marcel received the last year of his life. It made me feel good seeing him getting more and more attached to Mayanna, looking at her warmly and being so proud of her artistic talent, which he encouraged to develop. I needed home care for my Dad, who had stroke related dementia. He was not the nicest man since he had the strokes. He could be quite nasty and, at times, hitting and kicking. I had gone to many agencies and they refused to even come or after one day they refused to come back. That even included home care from Veterans services. When Bob came to my Dads home I explained fully the issues we were having with Dad. He did not shrink away but told me he could help. He sent Helen. I will always call her my God sent Angel and have told her so. We own so much to Helping Hands. My sister, Jeanne and I, finally could relax a little because we had the help we needed. My Dad was treated with the respect and dignity an 87 year old man deserved to get. Sadly, my Dad passed away on 11/9/14 but we know that his last months were the best because of the care he received by Helping Hands and Helen.
